ZACHARY, LA – Lane Gastroenterology is pleased to welcome Alessandra Cashio Richardson,PA-C, to its growing team of providers. She joins Gia Landry, MD, Zahf Shaikh, DO, Diana Martin, MD and Physician Assistant, Allyson Cross, in delivering expert care to patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.

Alessandra brings with her a strong background in internal and emergency medicine, along with a passion for patient-centered care. She is now accepting new patients at Lane Gastroenterology, located in Zachary. “We are excited to have Alessandra join our team,” said Patty Williams, Director of Physician Practices at Lane. “Her experience, clinical knowledge, and compassionate approach to care will be a great asset to our patients and the entire practice.”

Alessandra earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from LSU in Baton Rouge. Prior to joining Lane, she served as a physician assistant at AFC Urgent Care in Houston and in the Emergency Department at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge.

She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and she also speaks conversational Spanish. “I’m excited to join the team at Lane Gastroenterology and to be part of a practice that prioritizes personalized, high-quality care,” said Alessandra Cashio, PA-C. “My goal is to make every

patient feel heard, informed, and confident in their treatment plan.”

Alessandra is married with two children, ages 2 and 8 months. Outside of work her interests include feeding her chickens, making sourdough bread, going boating, shopping, travelling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
