🎣 Casting Fun at the Kids Rodeo Fishing Tournament!

Get ready for a morning full of excitement, friendly competition, and outdoor fun at the Kids Rodeo Fishing Tournament, hosted by the Greater Pointe Coupee Chamber of Commerce as part of the beloved Boiling on False River celebration!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 2, 2026, and bring the kids out for a fantastic community event designed just for them.

📍 Event Details

The tournament will take place at the public pier at Morrison Parkway, located behind the Parish Government Office. All participants must fish from the east side of the parkway, so be sure to get set up in the designated area.

• Registration begins: 8:30 AM

• Fishing time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Weigh-in: Promptly at 12:00 PM (participants must be in line by noon to qualify)

  
  

👧🧒 Who Can Participate?

This event is open to all ages, but prizes will be awarded to youth participants up to age 12. It’s a great opportunity to introduce kids to fishing or let young anglers show off their skills!
