Coffee & Conversations Brings Community Together at the Julien Poydras Center

On Thursday, June 5, the Greater Pointe Coupee Chamber of Commerce gathered community leaders, organizations, and partners for another energizing Coffee & Conversations event—this time hosted by the Arts Council of Pointe Coupee at the historic Julien Poydras Center.

Parish President Major Thibaut joined us to introduce Mr. Creed Romano, the newly appointed Pointe Coupee Parish Economic Developer. With a distinguished background and a proven track record, Mr. Romano brings a wealth of experience and forward-thinking leadership that promises to drive progress and prosperity throughout our parish. We were honored to welcome him and look forward to the impact his vision and expertise will have on Pointe Coupee’s economic future.

The event was well attended, with representatives from the Pointe Coupee Parish Office of Tourism, New Roads Main Street, Pointe Coupee Cruisers, Cottonport Bank, the Arts Council of Pointe Coupee, Pointe Coupee Homebound Health and Hospice, Pointe Coupee Human Services Center, Happier at Home, and Country Roads Magazine—all joining in to connect, share ideas, and collaborate for the betterment of our community.

We extend heartfelt thanks to the Arts Council of Pointe Coupee for their generous hospitality and to everyone who participated in meaningful conversations over coffee.
