FEMA Disaster Recovery Center Now Open in Pointe Coupee Parish

For residents and families recovering from recent disasters, support is available close to home. The Pointe Coupee Parish FEMA Disaster Recovery Center is now open at the Innis Library to provide personalized assistance and connect individuals with the resources they need to begin rebuilding.

The Disaster Recovery Center serves as a one-stop location where disaster survivors can receive guidance, ask questions, and explore available federal, state, and local recovery programs. Whether you need help completing an application or understanding what assistance may be available, trained staff are on-site to help every step of the way.

Services Available

Visitors to the Disaster Recovery Center can receive assistance with:

• Applying for FEMA disaster assistance

• Learning about U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster loans

• Exploring available state disaster assistance programs

• Accessing information about grants, financial assistance, and recovery resources

• Receiving answers to questions about the disaster recovery process

No appointment is required, making it easy for residents to stop by when it is convenient.
