The Greater Pointe Coupee Chamber of Commerce is committed to ensuring that our businesses and community partners have access to the best resources for growth and success. Right now, we have an important opportunity to shape the future of two key programs that directly impact workforce development in our state: the Louisiana Incumbent Worker Training Program (IWTP) and the Small Business Employee Training Program (SBET).
The Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC), with support from Riverbend Research (an arm of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber), is gathering feedback from businesses, chambers, training providers, workforce boards, and other stakeholders across Louisiana. Your input will help identify what’s working well and where improvements can be made so these programs continue to meet the needs of employers and employees alike.
📋 Take the Surveys:
For Businesses that have used IWTP or SBET: Click here to complete the survey
For Other Stakeholders (chambers, training providers, workforce boards, etc.): Click here to complete the survey
The Louisiana Legislature has tasked LWC with studying these programs, and your voice is a critical part of that process. By sharing your perspective—or by passing these surveys along to others in your network—you are helping ensure that workforce training programs remain valuable, accessible, and impactful for businesses and workers across our parish and beyond.
We encourage all members and partners to take a few minutes to complete the surveys and be part of this important effort. Together, we can strengthen workforce development and create even greater opportunities for businesses and employees in Pointe Coupee Parish.
