Houma, LA – Synergy Bancshares, Inc., the holding company of Synergy Bank announced recently that the Company’s Board of Directors has appointed Kenneth “Kenny” Woods, Jr. to the Board of Directors of Synergy Bank. The announcement was made by Jerry P. Ledet, Jr., Synergy Bank President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Wood serves as President of K & B Industries, a locally owned manufacturing company serving the oil and gas, aerospace, and semiconductor industries. He began his lifelong career at K & B Industries in 1994. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a premier provider of premium threading, precision machining, and turnkey manufacturing solutions serving the Energy, Aerospace, and Semiconductor industries.

Beyond his business, Woods and his family are recognized for his strong values, community involvement, and philanthropic commitment to the Bayou Region. He is a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School and University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
