The Greater Pointe Coupee Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Social, a highly anticipated event that brought together the local business community to celebrate achievements and foster connections. The event took place on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Circa 1903, located in the heart of Pointe Coupee Parish.
The evening was filled with networking opportunities, delicious local cuisine, and recognition of outstanding community members. The Chamber honored several distinguished award winners who have demonstrated excellence in their respective fields and contributed significantly to the growth and prosperity of the region. Award winners included:

A highlight of the evening was a keynote address by Commissioner Mike Strain, a respected leader known for his commitment to advancing agriculture and supporting rural communities. Commissioner Strain shared insights on the latest developments in the agricultural sector and the role local businesses play in fostering economic resilience.
City of New Roads Mayor Theron Smith, Pointe Coupee Parish President Major Thibaut, Representative Jeremy LaCombe, and Senator Caleb Kleinpeter were in attendance.
